? Tallahassee Mayor John Marks was elected president of the recently formed Florida League of Mayors, organized to provide a forum for the joint study of problems facing Florida cities.

? The Florida Board of Accountancy has elected David C. Tipton its 2006 chairman. Tipton is president of Tipton, Marler, Garner and Chastain of Panama City Beach.

? Sandra Harrell has been elected 2006 president of the Florida Association of Community Colleges. Harrell is assistant athletic director and a 16-year employee of Chipola College in Marianna.

? Ted Everett is the new director of the Washington County Chamber of Commerce. He served as chairman and director for seven years of the Washington County Tourist Development Council and owns the Hard Labor Creek Plantation and Hunting Preserve.
